The Adirondack Council
for Birthing Women is an organization committed to informing, empowering
and supporting women in our communities throughout pregnancy, birth
and postpartum.
We offer women a place to come for resources on pregnancy and birth as well as postpartum information. We do this through classes, informal meetings and workshops. The Adirondack Council for Birthing Women is also committed to advocacy. We feel every woman deserves the best maternity care and we feel strongly that there needs to be a return to normal birth.
The Adirondack Council for Birthing Women is located in the Adirondack region of New York. We serve woman in Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties as well as Western Vermont. |

In This Together
I am my sister's keeper
we're in this together
not to win
not to compete
not to conquer
but to educate
to nurture
to help.
We are each other's keeper
let us celebrate
the power within us all
to make a difference
to change the world.
